. An election shall be held at the request of the elected President of the organization and be carried out by the election offer. Generally elections are held at the end of each semester. To run for an elected position an individual must have attended 3/4 of the meetings held in the current semester, be a Political Science & International Relations major or minor, and have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA.
President
. The President is to preside over the executive cabinet and oversee execution of the semester/year agenda set by the executive cabinet. They shall also lead all general meetings for the organization and serve as a liaison to the Political Science Department and faculty.
Vice President
. The Vice President shall replace the President in the case of vacancy. The Vice President also oversees and controls any/all social networking site pages operated by PSSA.
Secretary-Treasurer
. The Secretary-Treasurer shall communicate all meeting times and upcoming events to all active members of the Political Science Student Association. They shall take attendance at all meetings, be responsible for the organization’s finances, and keep a record of meetings and their affairs.
Webmaster
. The Webmaster shall maintain the organization’s website and keep it up to date. They will act as the assistant secretary when need be and they shall also assist the president and serve at the pleasure of the executive members.
