The Political Science Students Association is a major/minor associated organization dedicated to providing a safe, fun, and stimulating social atmosphere where students of the Political Science Department can unite for the purposes of leisure and furthering their intellectual development.
What That Means:
PSSA is an academic organization run by political science students for political science students. The informal nature of our meetings, our member-driven calendar, and our open events are all products of this. We don’t require dues, or have strict attendance requirements because we realize how busy most Truman students are with schoolwork and other organizations. PSSA provides a resource for younger students by providing upperclassmen who, between them, have completed every required class in the major.
